A wonderfully talented, if occasionally distracted, artist, Leola has a habit of becoming completely absorbed in her work. It’s not unusual for her to reheat the same mug of tea three times before remembering to take a sip. When creativity strikes, hours seem to disappear in the blink of an eye.
Fortunately, her cousin Bartholomew Bear knows exactly what to do. Always ready with a fresh cup of tea and a slightly squashed plate of biscuits, he’s her biggest supporter—and her favourite muse. From his ruby-red Heartthrob stage outfit to his Bat Bear cape and bold Sun costume, many of Bartholomew’s most memorable looks began as Leola’s imaginative creations.
Though she dreams that one day her talent will be recognised far and wide, Leola is perfectly happy spending her days creating magical things for the people she loves most.
