Hansa Portraits in Nature is a hand-crafted collection of realistic plush animals. Artists working in a socially responsible and environmentally responsible studio create each Hansa animal from portraits of the creature in its natural habitat.
The Macaque Baby Monkey is from the Monkeys Collection. Monkeys have eyes set at the front of the head, giving them binocular vision and the ability to judge distance & depth. Most monkeys are arboreal (tree-dwelling), and feed primarily on leaves, fruits & insects. The majority of monkeys give birth to one baby at a time. The amount of time the young are nursed by the mother varies from 2 weeks to -2 yrs, depending on the species.
