I love this panda! It is smaller than expected, which was a nice surprise. Definitely take out the measuring tape; it's hard to tell the scale from the product photo.
The bear is made of two different materials that feel great. The off white part is cotton and the slate grey material is a really fine corduroy. The stuffing is soft and the bottom of the bear has weighted beads, so it can sit upright on its own. No tags or little pieces which can fall off. Held up well after a machine wash with warm water and laying flat to dry.
This hasn't been used by my baby yet, but we have already cuddled with it a lot. Looking forward to a lot of years with this sweet panda bear.
